Plot Summary

A heartwarming comedy about what happens when a teacher, Jan Dušička, brings a horse to his second-floor apartment. After a night of sleepwalking, Jan wakes up to an absurd reality. There is a horse in the middle of the living room. After the initial shock and gradual sobering up, Ján becomes increasingly convinced that he must take care of the horse. Jan finds no sympathy from his neighbours or his partner. In the run-up to Christmas, The Horse reveals real interpersonal relationships, standing in the middle of the break-up of Jan's long-standing relationship, but helping him to find true love...
